World Vision is a worldwide community development organisation that provides short-term and long-term assistance to 100 million people worldwide (including 2.4 million children).
Médecins Sans Frontières exists to save lives by providing medical aid where it is needed most – in armed conflicts, epidemics, famines and natural disasters. All these situations call for a rapid response with specialised medical and logistical help. But, they also run longer-term projects, tackling health crises and supporting people where the need is greatest. They currently have projects running in almost 70 countries.
The Chevron City to Surf is the second largest running event in Australia and is organised for the Activ Foundation.
Mediserve just received the official notice today of being a Club Red member- Donor ID 5xxxxxx. The plan is to encourage individuals/groups to participate in donating blood and make a big difference to those most in need. Whilst some of the group have already been donating for a number of years, we welcome everyone to participate.
Mediserve has been sponsoring Indigenous Nursing Students at Curtin University for over 6 years. Mediserve pays for the full cost of University fees and books for Indigenous students that qualify for the scholarship. We hope that other companies will also follow in providing more opportunities.
